Progress...

This week has been good in terms of training. I managed to do my circuit routine on wednesday morning (4:30am - uh!), Squash, a run and a walk on friday, yesterday was an RPM class, some weights and a walk/run, and today (Sunday) I did the Red Arrow track twice (including the lookout).

The Red Arrow is the beautiful bushwalking track on the other side of the city. It's not particularly long (hence the double laps) but it is intense. Most of the track is either uphill dirt track or steps cut into the side of a mountain. After not doing it in over 12months it was pretty intense. I was shaking on the way back down. It's the funniest feeling that one, where your legs are so tired all they can do is shake and there's nothing you can do to control it.

Even with all that exercise (and lots of salad!) I've feeling extra bloated today (actually this whole weekend). It's just about that time of the month, so I'm hoping that that is the reason for my more-bloated-than-usual stomach. I am truly feeling disgusting. I realise it's not possible to gain 10kg's over night, but it certainly feels like I have. Lite protein and salad for dinner, so hopefully I'll wake-up tomorrow feeling a little better. We're playing squash and then I have a training session, so it'll be a big day of exercise!

Fingers crossed for some real improvements soon!
