Well we have just returned from our little holiday to Sydney. I had such a good time but am sooo happy to be home! I had a training free holiday, I was completely inactive (we walked everywhere!) but decided to take time off from proper training. Just went for my first run since getting back and it felt so good to be doing something! I feel human again!
The AAESS conference wasn't too bad either. It really helped to motivate me and get me on track careerwise and fitnesswise. I feel a lot better for going. And it didn't hurt that the sexy cyclist from Perth was there as well! That was definitely the icing on the cake.
Anyway, as always after something like that I have come home with heaps of new goals to achieve before the year is over. I have to contact the uni this week about the phd, and would you believe that moving to Perth may actually be an option?!?!?!? I'm also going to call one of the dance studios tomorrow and book in for some beginners classes, as well as checking out the Les Mills Body Jam training dates. I'm really keen to do my training, so hopefully that will be on the cards soon!
So much going on I don't think I can get it all in - I can't type that fast! Really excited about the study possibility though, and am definitely feeling refreshed and ready to throw myself back in to training for the full/half marathon (off to the cardiologist on Monday - hopefully the final visit!! He'll let me know what my restrictions are...). Feeling a little anxious about it, so trying not to think too much about it!
I'm so slack with writing lately! Will definitely try to get back on track over the next couple of months. I'm hoping to get to Perth for the wedding in July so I'm setting myself July as the next date to work towards before I have another break. Todd is on 6 weeks holidays. Bastard!
That will do for now... But I will write again soon!
