The Biggest Cyclone We've Seen

We're on cyclone watch again and this one is an absolute monster. Check out Cyclone Yasi

A few years ago we get visited by Cyclone Larry and he wiped out a little town south of Cairns called Innisfail. Fast-forward 5 years and we have a cyclone with the same power but about four times the size.

Needless to say half the state is feeling a little stressed right now while we get the emergency management stuff done. Let's hope that unlike Larry, Yasi decides to head back out east.

Yikes! Batten down the hatches - that's one colourful monster. You Australians must be trying to experience a whole years worth of weather in the first month so you can coast through the next 11 months or something...
