I need more depth than 140 characters. Surely everything you’re feeling and doing can’t really fit into 140 characters? I hope your life is more than that.
I have an iphone and every time it goes off it grates on my nerves. No one should be as accessible as the mobile phone makes us, but mobiles aren’t enough. We also need to give people snapshots of our lives via facebook and twitter.
Loneliness or validation? A need to feel connected? Joy in a snapshot? Ease of how brief it is?
All of the above.
But it should be more than just a two second insight or what does it matter? Surely if someone cares about you they need more than that.
I would want more than that.
And that’s why I blog.
So, if you want to, follow me on here. But don’t look for me on facebook on twitter.
There’s Gotta Be More To Life than that.

I think I'm officially over facebook.
Kind of like twitter because I like sending random thoughts out into the universe, but facebook...ugh!
My friend Kristina closed her account down over 12months ago now and she hasn't made a comeback. Maybe life is better in blogs?
Yay for a facebook-free me! It got too complicated (socially not technologically ha ha). And I do prefer blogging, it has the positives of the connectedness of facebook (so many of my family and friends live so far away) without the creepy stalking and social posturing.
