Have to write a humorous piece for uni and need help coming up with a topic. It has to be something that happened to m. Could be something stupid I did, a terrible situation I landed myself in or just someone I know that's an interesting character. As long as it's real it's fine.
Suggestions?????

Does the whole thing have to be 'real' or just the premise? I'm thinking about that bizarre visit you got from the police awhile back that you'd blogged about in script form, you could spin a whole story around it - detective/comedic style :)
I'd forgotten about that! This blog is so handy in that way, all those little things that happen that slip your mind are right here.
The whole thing is supposed to be real, but there's probably enough that I could draw it out into a longer story if I come up with a good angle.
Am sure you could put a humorous spin on going diet coke cold turkey.

So, what did you write about?
I wrote a short story about a date I went on in high school where the boy behaved very very inappropriately. It was my first date. Had to submit before I was happy with it, so I think I'll do more work before publishing it on here.
I've got so far to go in terms of developing my humour skills...
