Reunion

Never before have I balked at writing an honest blog (I am after all very much a product of my generation and quite comfortable with the bizarre idea of sharing intimate personal details over the internet) but how much to write on this post was a bit of a mind bender...

Let me just say the reunion was last night, it went reasonably well. I wasn't drinking and still managed to have a good time with people I hadn't seen in ten years so I guess that is what we call a success. But there was a heart string that got pulled a little harder than I hoped it would. The plan had been to go and overcome some emotions attached to a person from a very long time ago. Didn't quite go as successfully as I'd planned. Did you know that you can't just will yourself to change feelings? Who knew?!?! (read layers of sarcasm there, it's practically dripping off each letter)

On a more positive note I'm going to rather arrogantly say that I think my cute pink shoes were the cutest of the evening (and believe me I was watching for the competition!) but I did cheat and wear the same dress I wore to my brother's wedding. I figured it was ok because the only people who would know are you guys reading. Check out the pics...
