My Dad and I dedicated most of yesterday to cleaning up the utter mess that was my front and back yard. While the previous owners had put some effort into the yard for the real estate photos, it seems that as soon as the photos were taken they let it all get out of hand.
It looks much prettier now. I had no idea how big the back yard really was until it came time to mow it!
Every time I drove up the drive way I'd shudder a little at how feral the house looked. Now, thanks to a big effort from Dad and I the place actually looks habitable again. Yay!
On a less positive note it seems that my house is leaking somewhere... Sounds scary and expensive.
