Not Impressed

To be perfectly honest, this book really bored me. I'd stumbled across it in a funky little bookstore last week (I think it may just be my new haunt) and reading the rave reviews was quite intrigued. Contrary to the media release I didn't find it wry, witty, clever or even the slightest bit funny. Rather than being a clever collection of reflective essays, it seemed to me more like a self-indulgent blog that someone bothered to bind. And that is such a shame, because I really really wanted to like it... :(
