De-Cluttering

Todd and I spent our entire Sunday morning de-cluttering the house. I have no idea what inspired it, but by the time we were done there were two full five foot tall garbage bins, we had filled the entire tray on the ute, and there were five massive garbage bags full of clothes to take to the Salvation Army.

All morning I kept reminding myself to take a picture of it all when we were done, and wouldn't you know it, I didn't remember till we were at the dump without a single camera or even camera phone between us! Dammit. Instead I'll just have to post a picture of Jenny and her cake at her farewell afternoon tea at work.

Not really the same thing though...

Is that what you did instead of going camping??

Yeah but it was completely unplanned. I've just been feeling that my life is too cluttered lately, so Sunday morning I awoke with the fantastic idea of clearing out our house. Of course it still doesn't solve the real problem of one person trying to cram way too much into a week, but the house is a lot more comfortable.

After I stuck that post up, Todd went through his clothes again (I did his first lot of sorting) and threw out another two bags worth. The Salvo's will be loving us!
