Looking for something good to read if anyone has any suggestions? The best book I've read lately was The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. I'm not expecting to better it, but I am open to the possibility.
I've got a copy of Tobruk but the fact that it's the size of an encyclopaedia is dampening my motivation to pick it up... Perhaps I'll go with some more Austen (I read Sense & Sensibility last month)? Not quite as intimidating!

I've got a really random book for you to read (if you can find it). Chris and I were recently given a box of random SF novels. Among them was The World Menders by Lloyd Biggle Jr. (what a name!!!) Anyway it was an astonishing read, especially in light of the American foreign policy that has developed since the writing of the book. Anyway just a suggestion
