Success on the exercise front today. We took the puppy for a big walk this morning, which he absolutely loved! Then this afternoon did the same run as yesterday (up the big hill at the start). Took a little longer than yesterday. It took me just over 30mins to get back to the bottom of the street. It took closer to 29mins yesterday. That's not too bad for doing the same run two days in a row. I would usually expect to do the second day of a hard run much slower than the first. It's a good sign that it was consistant, especially as I wasn't making an effort to.
Stuffed up on the food though. It's so much harder to eat healthy when Todd is at home. It's going to be even harder with visitors arriving this week but I will make a big effort!
Goals for the Week:
1. Five exercise sessions, regardless of the fact that we have visitors!
2. No treats (take-away) till dinner on Saturday for Ruth's birthday. (This will be challenging as their is no salad in the fridge... luckily there's a shop right next door to work that sells the world's best salad sandwiches. I'll be having lunch there tomorrow.)
I think that will do as far as goals go this week. Baby steps remember! I'll make a very concerted effort to see those two through - hopefully that will be enough. 1 exercise session down, four to go (it actually seems very achievable now that I think about it!).
